Wet food success

Post by LindaKat »

I have had a right battle with Harry recently with regard to loss of appetite. He is on renal food. He is now on mirtazapine every 3 days to help with his appetite. Side effect is that he is very vocal for a few hours after administering it.
I have now found out that he will eat wet food, I just have to blend it until it's the consistency of a thick milkshake. Also have to mush up the mousse style food and add water until it's the right consistency.
Honestly the lengths we go for our furry friends. But at least he is now eating. 😺

Wow, I'm glad that everything worked out. My cat sometimes also refusing the food, and I tried many different ways how to change it. But his protests, luckily, doesn't last for a long time
