Bed for Maine coon.

Post by catt25 »

Good morning,

I would like to buy a cat bed for my Maine coon.
I saw a similar product in the pet shop, but here is cheaper.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/363086993251

Is this bed will be fine for my cat?
What do You think?

I don't see any reason why not, it says it is washable which would be one of my concerns. I have assumed you have checked the size and it is suitable for your Main Coone. Whether they will actually sleep in it is always a bit debatable, cats are notorious for ignoring the expensive pet bed in favour of the box it came in, or just lounging on the floor.

My Badger (an 8kg Maine Coon) managed to sleep in a 40cm diameter hut bed, so I think it ought to be big enough. As Ruth says, whether he uses it is another matter!

Sorry I'm wary of clicking links but Cat Tree UK do some beautiful ones, we bought one for my 5kg moggy and she loves all the space she has to stretch out. It's solid, I sat on the second level and I am not light, nearly 6ft and shall we say curvy.
