Bob's first day out
It was a nice day today and very warm. We've been suffocating with all the windows shut - to keep Bob in. So I thought 'what the heck' and opened the windows. Whoosh he's out.

Re: Bob's first day out
Bobby's a little monkey. He sits as good as gold when I am near him. But the minute I turn my back he's off into the undergrowth at a surprising speed! Nice that he feels like doing that.
I'm thinking of getting, or making him a little hi-vis 'waistcoat (with fast-release press studs?). I thought it would give him some protection for his sticky-out shoulder bone and enable me to see him when he is in the wood. What does everyone think?

Re: Bob's first day out
hm, not sure about that - I don't mind safety release collars but would worry about anything like a harness or waistcoat just in case it wouldn't come off? Admittedly once the wound is fully healed and the fur has grown over again I would suspect that there is no need to protect the shoulder bone - he should cope as normal then.
If Bobby does wear a collar you could get a small flashing light like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/DIGIFLEX-Collar ... B0057N4S9E" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; that may do the trick as well?

That sounds a good idea Meriad, thank you.

Fabulous pictures. Nice to see more of your gang too. Bob really is a gorgeous looking boy. The area at the back of your garden does look appealing (for a cat). No wonder he scarpers off the minute your back is turned. He makes me laugh!! What a character.
