Heated pad for outdoor box

Hello Everyone,
I’m mum to a Tortoiseshell named Kacy that I’ve had her since 9 weeks and she’s coming up to 13 in April.
Ok, In my garden there’s nothing for her to shelter so I’ve made a outdoor box (small storage box wrapped with wooded thick blanket and put that inside a larger box with clipped lid with hole on side) just a fleece blanket inside.
Question is does anyone have a heated pad or self heated pad in their outdoor cat box?
Which works best? Your opinion is much appreciated.
