Cruelty I can never forget

A cruel man picked up a kitten and threw it. Back broken. I tried to comfort it till she passed. The little kitten was just playing at his feet and he did this. Every once in awhile the thought emerges and really depresses me. This was a long time ago. I love animals. Sometimes I’m close to tears thinking of this event. I’m not a wimp. Quite the contrary but this is the saddest of things.

That must have been a horrible thing to witness, but fortunately for the kitten you did and you didn't shy away from being with her in her final moments, letting her leave this life knowing that at least someone cared.

Unfortunately there is still a lot of cruelty in the world, aimed both at animals and our fellow humans. All any of us can do, is to do our best to help those around us and share our love to all who deserve it.

And hope that karma pays a few visits.
