Thanks everyone it’s been a tough few days since I lost my boy but starting to realise that I did do the right thing and I think that when my boys home with us again I will start to heal.

I can't add any more to what Lilith and booktigger have said. Just know that we are here for you and understand what you are going through. (Hugs)

Thanks for the kind words as I’ve needed them, this experience losing Gizzmo has been one of the worse days since I lost my mum.

Lilith wrote:Hi Gabby, welcome and hugs.

Why is it, when to release a being from a horribly diseased and disabled body is the last act of love we can give, do we then feel so guilty? We all do, and we shouldn't. Wherever Gizzmo is now he is free and healthy and lively again and I believe you'll be reunited some day.

You've done your best for Gizzmo. Please try and hold on to that, and keep on posting on here - we're here to support you.

Lots of love and hugs, Lil x
Thankyou for your kind words it has helped me, these first 3 days have been heartbreaking as I wasn’t really prepared for losing him that soon as he went downhill so quickly this time last week he was ok just off his food.

Hi kris , you made the right decision ,letting your cat go ,I have seen many cats
Been P T S ,and it’s a kind death ,still after losing Bertie last year ,they was. Many thoughts
Had I made the right decision ? ,and every time the answer was yes ,,I knew it was only
A matter of time ,before Bertie died ,and I am sure ,it wouldn’t have been a pleasant
Way to go ,for the sake of. Having who knows how long extra time ,was I willing to risk it ?
The answer is no ,still losing a beloved pet. Is heartbreaking enough without ,second
Guessing yourself ,and keep telling yourself ,you give her a painless and peaceful way to
Go , and that’s what she would have wanted , it showed her you loved her ,
Please be kind too yourself ,x

We are so glad we took so many photos of him. I wonder if he knew as he took to looking into the lens and smiling at me. Just make the most of the time and give her anything she wants.

Know we are all thinking about you. Fusses to your girl and big ((hugs)) to you.
Bobby's Girl, my Oody also took the decision out of my hands. Her last gift to me. :)

Hi I am so sorry ,too hear your post ,putting a beloved cat too sleep ,is a heartbreaking
Choice you have to make ,but if it’s for the best ,sadly that’s the only option as for putting
My Bertie too sleep ,at first ,I thought I had made a huge mistake ,but no almost two years on
It was the right choice ,of course leading up to the night ,he was pts ,I thought we still
Had hope ,sadly I was blinded ,too the fact ,we had lost the battle ,keeping Bertie alive
Ment ,he would have no quality of life ,knowing Bertie as I did ,he had lived a full life
But sadly short ,Bertie was only 7 years old

Hugs and kisses. X
