Advice on kittens

Hi all i'm not too sure where to start with this, there is a very silly man trying to sell his kittens on the usual social network it turns out they are only 4 weeks old he has let 2 go yesterday to homes when i asked a bit about them they have not even started to be weaned off mum yet i was heart broken for the poor things and stupidly offered to buy the other kittens off him i know i'm only lining his pockets but i feel so sorry for them i've hand reared quite a few kittens from 10 days old to 4 weeks so i won't have a problem with them even though i can't afford them i will find them good homes am i doing the right thing here?

It's a difficult question to answer because as you know, for as long as people keep buying people like him will keep allowing his cat to get pregnant that's said, you did what you did for the sake of the poor kittens - to give them a chance to be fed and weaned and to ultimately make sure they go to a good home, so I don't think anyone could argue with that. Someone seriously needs to convince this guy though to get his cat spayed!! To be selling those kittens at 4 weeks old is shocking and extremely sad for them and the mum cat. It breaks my heart
