Rehoming service help

Post by AunTay »

Hello I read about a cat rehoming organisation where the cat stays in their current house and not sent to a shelter while the cat is being advertised for rehoming/adoption. I can’t remember the name of the organisation, can someone please help? Thank you.

That's how I got my girl, she was what they called a home-to-home and the charity just put us in touch like a dating agency. The people giving her up had full responsibility for making sure they were happy for their beloved cat to come and live with me, so there was no home check by the rescue. It's not a policy of theirs or a specific service they offer, it just sometimes happens that way that the cat can stay until a new home is found.

I would get in touch with a couple of rescues near you and see what they say, if they can help you.

Ok thank you :) I thought there was a particular company that did specifically home to home. No problem I’ll cal my local rescues.
