Hello I have a friend that is in an awful situation. She has recently separated from her husband with whom she has a small child and a cat. She has had to move back in with her parents with her daughter and they are refusing to let the cat live there. We have exhausted all options of friends and family members taking him in temporarily until she finds a new home. Are there any services or cat fosterers that would be able to take a neutered male cat with no health complications in temporarily? He is currently living with her husband but there are fears that he is being neglected.
Food, vets fees and insurance will be paid for.
Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

We are often asked about temporary fostering services, and our Help Desk has a comprehensive list of suggestions. Also they may have details of regional fostering services available, depending on where your friend lives. So I would suggest emailing them on: cat.advice (at) catchat.org letting them know which area your friend lives in, and they will send you all our current suggestions.
