Hello all
I'm hoping the forum users can share an idea or two about what we might do to get around a troubling situation.
We have four lovely, affectionate black and black and white boys all from rescue centres. We're moving to France at some point in January but won't have anywhere for them to stay for probably 4-6 weeks. The cheapest cattery we can find (Surrey) will cost around £1500 which is eye-watering given we could actually rent a whole house for that amount!
Do any members have any ideas about what we could do please?
I know there lots of lovely fosterers out there (we've done it ourselves in the past) but we don't want to take advantage of anyone and certainly don't want to give the lads up if we can avoid it. Happy and grateful to consider any and all ideas if you're willing to share them.
Thanks folks

You could try AngloInfo for your region in France, to put you in touch with English people in the area. The site has a Pets section. Or your local SPA in France might know a cattery or fosterers

Thanks so much for your ideas johntruscott, we'll definitely join the AngloInfo family when in France. Our immediate challenge is how to home the cats in the UK before we get to France.
All other ideas more than welcome.
