Cat trap needed to help poorly stray/feral

Post by Shickle15 »

Hi all,

Does anyone know where we might be able to borrow or rent a cat trap to catch a poorly feral cat and get it to the vets? We live in North London but happy to travel within London to collect/return.

Thanks
Steph

I don't, I'm afraid, but other people may be able to advise.

Have you tried ringing the local branch of Cats' Protection?

I was once promised help and a trap for a poorly un-neutered feral, but was then let down - and I tempted the guy into a cat carrier by putting a lump of tuna (which he adored) at the far end. He went straight in; prior arrangement made with vet, job done. But he did trust me halfway (though he may have regretted this later in the day when he lifted a back leg to wash his manly pride and saw it was gone  )

All the very very best and let us know how you go on :)

Hi, try Mayhew animal home (0208 9690178) they cover NW London not sure if they do North London . If not they will be able to give you number of rescues in your area.
Best of luck, hope you manage to help the cat.
