Hi everyone, I'm just looking for some advice really.
I've just finished the second year of an animal behaviour and welfare degree, the third year of my degree is a placement year. I'm trying to look for suitable places to volunteer, as I have a keen interest in cats and plan on hopefully working with them once I have finished my degree, I wanted to volunteer at a rescue or something similar.
I've spent quite a lot of time searching and contacting local shelters and organisations which I may be able to volunteer at, however I seem to be getting nowhere.
I just wondered if anyone had any advice on what else I could do or where I could look that might help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Re: Advice on volunteering
At the moment Plymouth, however I may be moving with family depending on where I can get a placement, to either west Yorkshire or back up to the north east (Newcastle/Sunderland area). So i'm considering any of those areas at the moment.
