Help to take in a stray cat

A very friendly small thin stray cat needs some one to look after him. He is living outside in a neighbours pampass grass. I have taken him to the vet but he is not micro chipped and has a tooth problem so is struggling to eat. Also posted him as lost on various social media sites. Can anyone take him? I live in Congleton Cheshire
