Next Steps for Found Cat Walthamstow

Post by Mandy-Looo »

Hi,

We've had a stray roaming our streets for about 4 weeks and we, along with other neighbours have been feeding him.
He's juvenile (still growing), no microchip, not neutered. I have had a paper collar on him a couple of times, he's been posted in local forums and on AnimalSearch UK with no response, so today I have taken him for neutering under the C4 scheme at a local vets. We're happy to look after him for tomorrow night and then feed him in our back garden or even foster for a while as are other neighbours who have been looking out for him, but ideally, I'd like to find him a proper home, He's a very friendly boy who obviously had plenty of human contact when he was young. I have 3 cats already and am not keen to home another just at the moment.

Any advice on this? Does anyone have space in a shelter for him or be at least available to do a home visit if somewhere for him is found?

Thanks in advance.
