Feral Kitten Advice

Post by FeralCatMum-47 »

I'm looking for some advice about some feral kitten that are in my garden. I have a group of 3 cats that moved into my garden late last year, all are feral. I managed to catch the male and he is neutered and also one of the females has been spayed. But the other female has had kitten and so I now have 3 four week old kittens that she keeps in a plant pot on top of my wood store.
What i want to know is at what age I should try to catch the kittens as I want them to be socialised and hopefully rehomed eventually. And also where I can take them once I have caught them. I can't keep them. With the 3 feral and 2 of my own and a full time job, I have my hands full already.
Cats Protection have said they can't help. The local Rescue Centre can't take the kittens as currently they are too young and by the time they are old enough to take I fear they may be too wild (and catching them may be difficult).
I've rung everywhere I can think of but nobody seems able to help.
My local vets would take one but the 3 are too many for them to handle.
Any advice and help would very much be appreciated.
I'm located in Leicestershire.
