My boys need a temporary home for house move.

Hi, we have a problem with our 2 cats (Milo 14 and Willis 10). We have sold the family home and are moving, unfortunately our new home won’t be available for about 3 months so we are having to live with in-laws. The in-laws have a dog who is not a cat lover so the cats cannot come with us (Seriously, the dog would eat them). I have asked friends and family and unfortunately nobody wants my boys. Milo is getting on a bit and never strays far from home, but Willis is a mouser and spends most of his days hunting. I don’t really want to put the cats down and we honestly cannot afford kennels for 3 months as they are ridiculously expensive. I was hoping for some advice on what options I might have? Ive looked in all the usual places and the only advice seems to be fostering (if we can find somewhere) or a kennel, which at last quote was around £1000 - Thank you
