Adopt ed cat

Post by Gigi »

We talked over a number of days Which cat would suit us and when I spoke to the charity last night all was well to get Dolly. In the morning travelled in deep snow. Told the cat was reserved. The other cats were shy. I left with a cat who was housed with another cat she hasn't eaten drank or used her litter tray. She has hidden behind the furniture. I rang two Hours in and was told I was silly to worry. I'm still worried its three hours later

just move all your expectations forward a couple of weeks, and start to worry if none of them are being met by then

acclimatization to a new home and new people naturally takes time, and nothing you can do to hurry the process, so be patient and take pleasure in each step forward she takes
