Amelia, a 10 year old Bengal was being walked in her harness and on a lead when she pulled away and disappeared near the windmill in Finchingfield at 11:30am 1st June 2021

She has a specialist diet and needs regular medication so it is VITAL we try and locate her as soon as possible.

Amelia is chipped and apart from the fact that she is wearing a harness with the word "Amelia" embossed on it another distinctive identifying mark is that there is a brown spot at the base of her right eye (looking from the front).

I cannot put into words how delighted I am to be able to say that Amelia is no longer lost. She re-appeared at our back-door at about 10:30pm that evening. Her jacket and lead were gone and on close examination it seems that almost all her claws are either worn down to the quick or have gone completely so it seems she must have spent the very hot day (26C+) trapped indoors somewhere - perhaps a garage. Did you ever wish your cat could talk and tell you what happened? Anyway the most important thing in the world is that she is back home where she is safe (and very much loved!).

I am so happy for you - she is a very beautiful cat. It might be worth getting her checked at the vets if you have not already done so - worn claws can be a sign of an RTA or other accident, and better safe than sorry.
