Baillie is Missing - Blairgowrie area - Found

Our beloved 7 year old ginger and white tabby Baillie has been missing from the Gean Grove area of Blairgowrie since Friday 9th January. He is neutered and chipped but does not wear a collar, very friendly boy although quite timid. He has had a tendency to wander in the past but never very far and never for this long, we are heartbroken and just want to know what's happened to him. All local houses have been leafleted, posters put up, vets, rescue centres, council, shops etc have been informed and all day searches have been going on but to no avail. If you have seen him please call 07786-933428. Thank you

I'm so sorry he's missing - it's so hard. Do try going out calling late at night or very early morning, though, when it's quiet. You're more likely to hear each other and he's likely to be less scared. Best of luck.

Thank you and yes it's very hard, he's not even my cat, he lives with my parents and his female tabby companion Brodie - she is wondering where he is. I know my folks have been out every day, and after dark, calling etc but to no avail as yet. This is Day 6 and Blairgowrie is under a blanket of snow, we're only hoping he's sheltering somewhere as the snow might make him disorientated! We're keeping our fingers crossed.

our much loved Baillie came home last night around 6pm. He was very hungry and thirsty but seemed otherwise unaffected by his ordeal, we assume he was shut in somewhere. Thank you all on this site for your concern and good wishes, we are all very relieved.

Might be worth just popping him along to the vet for a check over, just in case. Really pleased he's home, what a relief for you.
