HELP Please !!!

We have lost our cat and need eyes out there to try and help us find him. He is called Whisky he is 12 years old and was my mothers cat but she is over 80 and can't cope anymore. We brought him home last Sun (1/3) and kept him in all week, the plan was to let him out yesterday with us in attendance and ID on a collar. However the cat flap was left open by mistake and he got out at about 06.30am and no-one has seen him since. He comes from Brighton so he doesn't know the area, has no ID and hasn't had time to lay a scent trail. He went out from our house in Kings Park Village in Braintree (op the Tescos just off the A120) We are worried sick about him and would ask for anyone who sees him to please contact us ASAP on 01376 346 123 or 0781 247 7123. For ID he is quite a big cat, has a very slightly deformed left ear and is very vocal so does answer to his name. Thank you in advance. Very worried Sara Oh yes and he is Black and White
