Two Cats Lost from South Yardley, Birmingham

Post by Hipkit » Sun Apr 20, 2014 12:01 am

I have lost two cats: Fred and George.
Fred went missing on 6th April. He is a large black and white cat, inclined to roam. Both cats are microchipped and neutered. George went missing on 14th April. He is a small, homeloving, shy cat not given to roaming.
I'm very worried about both of them.

This is George, note the white stripe on the top of his head.

The picture of Fred shows OK if you click on the link.

You must be so worried, I'm so sorry - there is good advice on lost cats here:

I hope you find them.

Both cats are still missing. There have been sightings of Fred, but nothing about George. The house isn't the same without them, even though I have three other cats. They're missing them two. George is the son of Lucy and brother to Cyd; Fred is brother to Victoria. Lucy, Cyd, and Vic are the cats still at home.

I'm going to wait awhile to give them time to return, then cat-proof the garden. May also adopt another cat. I have the space etc and s/he will cheer me up a little.

have you checked with police/shelters, put up posters etc?

I know there is missing and found animal groups on facebook so if you are on there then check with those!

Please do not give up on your boys, poor little guys! :(

If there have been sightings of Fred, then why is he still missing? Has no one tried to catch him?
