Lost Ocicat in Blairdardie area of Glasgow

Hi everyone,
I am new to Catchat and wonder if anyone can help? Our beautiful cat, Scout, has gone missing from home and we are all very worried, particularly, Finlay, my 11 year old son who just wants his friend back. Scout is an Ocicat with grey striped markings, he is friendly, very 'vocal' and has an Egyptian look about. He is 9 years old, neutered, microchipped and was wearing a collar. He gets outdoors but never wanders that far, always comes back when called. He has now been missing for 3 days. I appreciated that this isn't very long but it is completely out of character.
We have asked neighbours to look in huts, sheds etc. We've gone around shouting his name, listening for a response in case he is stuck somewhere but nothing. I've also put a post on Gumtree.
Scout was actually a rescue/rehomed cat who settled in really well, so any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. I've tried to upload a photo of Scout but the file is too large.
Thanks, Rosemary
