Hey Samis Mummy, how's the lad doing? I have a feeling that now free of the irritation of stitches/foreign bodies like the plates and screws his tissues will heal much faster than last time, but just wanted to send my good wishes x

thank you for the message. He's doing ok. Bit stiff walking but runs like normal! He's eating well and is good at finding the cage for toilet. I hope things heal well. He's got to have the mask on for about a week yet. That's kind of you to keep him in mind it's lovely to hear from you and everyone else. Thanks again. Hope all is well with you x

He'll find a way! :D

You should see Bob having a wash. He squats down almost knock-kneed so he can concentrate on washing his whole face with his one front paw. Anything he can't reach he rubs on the furniture - or me.

I've started to put down his litter tray...he's used it twice already...and like normal litter ends up all over the show!

So far I've not seen him try to stratch his left ear..

I'm going to take him round the garden at the weekend on his lead...

He's walking better now, and jumping all over the place

I'm well proud of him. :D

Lol sadly only three paws...but I think it was enough for our vet as well as Sami...the assistant wrapped him up in a towel to try and stop him attacking them lol

Yes he's doing so good...I'm worried about letting him out alone I don't know how I'll get over this...he still hasn't found a way to stratch his left ear...I'm trying to do it for him.

Thanks so much for fuss and love..ill pass them on, hope all is well with you xx :D

Attacking them - bad lad! My older two will let me trim their claws - I fear my youngest would shred me or anyone else who tried to mess with her talons - luckily she bites them.

We're all ok here thanks, chaos as usual, but that's how it goes lol. Love to Sami as always :D

I know. I'm quite embarrassed taking him to Clive, as Sami always goes for him...he behaved with Glenn, but that was because he was so bad for so long...now he's back to normal...I wish Sami could behave sometimes, but that's who he is...in 6 weeks he's gone from cuddly cat back to little sod!

Your older two sound well behaved! Lucky you lol

Thanks..ill pass it on to him...love to your lot too X and you of course

I spoke to Glenn yesterday, and he said if Sami wants to go out he can...but of course he can't guarantee nothing will happen again plus Sami is at a slight disadvantage with only three legs...after my Australia trip...I might start letting him out and just see...but I'm so scared of letting him go alone...any suggestions how I can do this? X

Hi there, sorry if this has been discussed before, but would it be possible to enclose the garden so that he can't roam? I know it would be a blow at first to him, but after his ordeal it would be easier for him to adapt, and you'd have peace of mind too.

I did my garden few years back and the relief of being able to let them out without worrying about them getting on to the roads or into trouble is enormous.

As always lots of fusses to the brave lad - glad he's doing so well x

Thank you for the message. I'm not sure it's possible as we have quite an open back garden. But I might look into it.

Sounds like it was a great idea for you, I'll certainly look into it. Thanks

And thank you for the fusses. I'll pass it on when I return x

Hope all is well with you x

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to let you all know Sami is doing brilliantly and getting on well...he's back to himself (Thank god) but slightly more friendly...he's sort of going out alone, mainly at weekends...however im trying to keep an eye on him, and he doesn't seem to be going further than our back garden or my neighbours..he got up our trellis, but couldn't work out how to get down...i was a bit worried so i got my neighbour to get him down!

He's using his scratching post, but i he's not trying to use it on his back paw...and still hasn't worked out how to scratch his left ear, well apart from to get me to do it lol

Thank you for all your messages and support,

Jane and Sami x
