Lost Cats on Queens Road, Bradford

Hello,

In the last 2 months, 8 cats have gone missing on my road and 3 of them belonged to me.
My last cat went missing on Thursday 11th May. A neighbours cat went missing on the 7th of May.
We don't know what to do as when contacting the Police, they are simply filling in a lost report.
I don't know if someone is poisoning the cats or stealing them for other purposes such as practice bait for dogs being trained for dog fighting.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you.
Dan.

How awful - will your local paper run a story?

That could encourage anyone who knows something to come forward - a reward for information would perhaps help - as well as spreading the word if any missing cats are out there to be found

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

I will contact the local paper to see if they will put a few lines in.
I was thinking of contacting my MP and perhaps a letter from him/her to the Police could do something but I am thinking they will not take it seriously and just laugh it off.

Once again.

Thank you.

Hi Dan and welcome. Very sorry to hear. That's disturbing, to say the least. I know a cat rescue worker in Bradford so have passed on the news in case this helps. At least it will be in the network and word will get passed on.

Might be a good idea if you can post details of your cats and any others?

Again so very sorry to hear :(

I do hope something gets done about this, all the very best.
