Our black shorthair male, Paddy, has been missing for about 24 hours in Colney Heath. He's got a big frame but is quite slender, is very curious and boistrous, so could easily have got stuck in someone's spare room/shed. He doesn't wear a collar (after he managed to remove several, we gave up trying) but he is microchipped.
He's done this once before and I wouldn't, in normal circumstances, be worried (yet), but I'm going away tomorrow and don't want to leave others to look for him rather than look after him!
If there is anyone in the area who has spotted him or has any ideas please please let me know. I'm brand new to this forum, having never posted before nor even visited the site before, so if anyone has any tips on how to alert local shelters or other means of reaching out to cat owners in my area please do let me know.
Huge thanks in advance.
Come home Paddy!

Paddy turned up 2 days later, drenched and spooked but unharmed - must have got himself shut in someone's shed/garage. Panic over!

Thank goodness for that - what a lovely boy he is.
