Water games
Anyone else have issues with cats and water?
Never had a cat that does anything other than drink from the bowl now we have one that dips a paw in any unattended glasses and one that drops a toy in the water, pushes it around until it reaches maximum capacity of water retention and then strategically leaves it in a direct line between us and the bathroom. The other night he deposited a sodden toy mouse on the bed in the night seemingly knowing that I'd reach out and touch it

lol, one already jumped onto a loo seat before it was lowered when he was smaller, that gave him a shock. Luckily it was post flush

Re: Water games
Georgia has attempted to jump in the loo as well, what is it with cats and loos? I thought they didn't like water in general. More disturbing is the fact that at only 5 months she's getting the hang of lifting the loo seat up; clever monkey!

Large, very wet stuffed mouse lobbed across the kitchen floor this morning. Water. Water everywhere.

I count myself lucky, Merrick does prod the water with his paw sometimes, but none of my lot try to drown their toys, thankfully!

Re: Water games
Mine are obsessed by the bathroom sink. They bolt to it every time the tap is turned on. Only the bathroom sink though. They love to bat and lick the flow of water, usually getting a head soaking in the process!

Re: Water games
LOL at you lot.
My Monty will regularly dip his paw in the water bowl and swirl that around and then lick the water off his paw. And he loves the fish tank - he's figured out how to open a panel of thethe old one in the dining room and then tries to catch fish. But the new tank in the lounge he can't open thankfully.
But he did a very good job of catching the fish in the pond . I'll never forget the day my upstairs neighbour asked if I had any idea how a fish managed to get onto her front lawn... ooops!

Willow likes the mixer tap in the kitchen. She sometimes sits by the sink looking at me and shooting side-long glances at the tap until I turn it on for her - well-trained or what? (me not her)

Re: Water games
Considering Georgie's last trip to our bathroom you would think she'd never want to go in there again. I still have to watch her and remember to close the bathroom door if I leave the bath running. The positive outcome of that little excursion was that she smelled of 'Herbal Essenses' for ages.

Oh I do like a fragrant kitty!!
I suspect Monty was not quite so fragrant after his fishing trip, though, naughty boy.
Loved the clip of gorgeous Harvey. Ooooops!

Finally got Georgie's Photo loaded. This was from when she took a nose dive into the bath. She came out with foam round her face making her look like a black Santa...She wasn't impressed

Yay, it's the soggy mog! That's the pic that I posted around Halloween. Helen noticed the spider and said how apt it was (with the spiky black cat) for the time of year. Poor little poppet - don't they just hate it when you laugh at them?

Looks like you've changed the pic - she's gorgeous!
My lot HATE it when I laugh at them too and do the 'when in doubt wash nonchalantly' thing!

Ithink I will have to have a word with my little sister! Unless she has it sorted, she has no access to WiFi at home. So she won't post over the weekend.Crewella wrote:Looks like you've changed the pic -
