I wonder if gingers are genetically more likely to turn into monsters than other colours - I can certainly recall seeing a fair number of big ginger toms in my time

Tiffany is undoubtedly fat, but she has enormous paws, so I think we can put some of her 6.3kg down to big bones

Lovely update on your little boy. I love those whiskers, they are very striking!

Haha I think gingers are just genetically more likely to turn into quirky cats in general... everyone I speak to who has or has had a ginger has stories to tell about their personality traits! :) All cats have their own lovely little characters but ginge's do seem to share a few common things...! Spike is gorgeous nanny! :)

Another update on Bailey.. he had his first shots on Saturday - he was very sleepy for 24 hours afterwards but he's back to normal now bless him.
However, as part of the vet check he was checked over and weighed etc.. vet was surprised at his size. He's 1.7kg already and only just 10 weeks old.. she said she'd have guessed him as 15-16 weeks old if she didn't know his age. I think I've acquired a small horse rather than a kitten.
He also eats 3 full whiskas pouches per day now and will still graze on the big boy's food given the opportunity and cry for more.

Both the big boys are now grooming him and Harvey tolerated Bailey curling up with his head on him yesterday which was a pleasant surprise :)

He's acquired a very cute little trait too.. he loves being carried/cuddled so he comes up to me and rears up like a meerkat and mewls at me to be picked up. When I lean down to get him he stretches his front paws up to let me grab him, so cute. He'll gladly just sit in my arms for hours - I just wrap him in my jumper and carry him around as I do houeswork. He's such a little clingon :)

Haha awwww! Congratulations on the new addition! :) Holly Emmeline is a lovely name!
Funnily enough I always thought I'd call my baby Harrison if I had a boy; great minds haha! :)

My parents had a cat called Tabitha, it is a very feline name... I like it though, it's elegant! :) Please pass on my congratulations to your daughter :) !

Hehehe Thomas :) Nobody will ever know he was named after a stray cat... ;) Well, they will now you've told us all

My family have used all the names I like the most for our pets so I think my kids will end up named after our pets too haha :) Between us we have Oscar, Gizmo, Clive, Harvey, Bailey, Holly, Charlie, Rosie, Millie and Thomas!

Congratulations nanny, that's lovely news! :D

I never had kids of my own. But with Dave's son, Jon James, our lurcher, Katie and kitties, Thomas, Grace and Willow (I just like the name Willow, OK) I have just about covered all the names I would have chosen for my own! There must be a dog or kitty out there with the name Sophie - that's the only name left.

Looking at it that way ...... with cats called Grumpy Nellie, Merrick, Daz, Basil and Pugwash ...... it's probably a good job that I never did have kids of my own! ;)

Congrats! :D
