Lost Black DSH Braunstone, Leicester - FOUND AND PURRING

Post by AnnaClaydon1 »

Lost - Black DSH male, neutered, half-balding with fur growing back. Called Levi but not used to the name much yet. He wasn't yet due to leave the house and escaped on December 16th around the Bendbow Rise area. He micro-chipped. If you see him please email [email protected] iPhone 0116 2856007

Hi Anna
Sorry to hear your beautiful black cat has gone missing I and many others on here well understand what a horrible feeling this is.
Can I suggest you follow the advice on the lost cats advice page, the tips and advice is brilliant and very thorough.
Best of luck in finding your cat

Thanks Gemma.

I've checked with the RSPCA too and he's 7 miles from where he was originally found. AnimalRescue have been great and are sending me some laminated posters to add to my more amateur flyers. I've got various elderly cat-friendly neighbours on the look-out and have spoken to children walking to school. Has anyone used the Animal Rescue Search Team? It's a big cost but I'm thinking about getting them in. I fear he's trapped somewhere and can't get out.

All best
Anna

I hope you find him, Anna. If you have some ideas as to where he might be, go out calling him late at night or very early, when it's quiet. He's be less scared, and you stand more chance of hearing each other. I'm so sorry - it's such a worry when they go missing.

:D Levi is home! A call generated by Animal Rescue focussed the search and tonight I just focussed on that area and by the time I rounded the circle he was waiting for me on a pillar! He let me carry him all down the road purring his head off! Thanks for all your support- my Christmas is now totally made :D :D

That's going to be the best Christmas present ever...!!!

I have recently put my beloved seal point Siamese on Animal Rescue UK and hope they can do the same for me....

Lots of love

Thanks everyone! Levi and I think it'll be a purrfect (groan) :D

Good luck with your own cat searches and I'm really glad to see some making their ways home too.
