Her name is Pebbles and she is nearly 14 years old, although how she dashes about sometimes you would think she was still a kitten. She was quite poorly last year and had nearly every test under the sun - two scans, one on her heart and one her abdomen, x-rays and numerous blood tests. Fortunately, the only thing they found was inflammatory bowel disease which, although still serious, is being more or less controlled with diet. I just wish she would put some weight on as she's now only 2.4Kg. She's also got a chronic sinus infection, caused by having cat flu at a very young age (2 weeks old when she first came into the rescue). In fact, as I've been typing this she's had a massive sneezing fit - snot all over the place but at least she won't snore tonight!! ;)

I remember Pebbles, she could be Hector's older sister - he has IBD and cat flu related issues too!! He's had a bit of a grim winter, gets a bit worse each year but he's still plodding on.

Good luck in getting some weight on her :)
