Anti-bac wipes safe for cats?

Post by waggledance »

Hello

Are anti-bac wipes OK for cleaning in the room where my new kittens will be sleeping?

I've bought some pet friendly cleaner from pets at home but wondered if the ordinary (eg Dettol or Sainsburys own) wipes could be in any way toxic for them?

Thanks if anyone knows. They arrive tomorrow and we're giving their sleeping room a final clean tonight.

Some antiseptics are highly toxic to cats, particularly those that go cloudy in water. To be on the safe side, just use normal household detergent or products that are marketed as pet friendly.

The Pets at Home litter tray wipes are safe. They contain the same ingredient as the spray (byotrol) - they are huge and really thick - £2 for a pack of 10
