I am so sorry to hear this, Helen, he was a very special boy who I think captured the hearts of a lot of us on here. You gave him a wonderful retirement home and he was very lucky to spend his final months with you and your OH. Thinking of you both.

Sleep tight Pugwash x

I too was very sad to read this news

Pugwash's story was an inspiration to anyone thinking of fostering, Helen, and the love and security he had with you was simply wonderful

Oh Helen i am so sorry to read this about Puggy, i loved reading your stories about him , i took a liking to him from the start, an underdog,or undercat...they are the best !This year has not been a good one for our mogs.
If its any comfort he would know he was loved right to the end.

Sleep tight Pugs, and form an orderly queue at the bridge, 'Puggy will be saying, ha! no chance'

Take care Helen and your OH, thinking of you both,XXX

Oh Helen, I am so very sad for you and your OH. That is a beautiful and very touching image of Puggy in your OHs arms.

What a gorgeous boy he was.

Sleep safely, little one.

((Hugs)) to you and yours, Helen.

Helen, I've just been a scrolling through the posts and I can't believe I missed this. I'm mortified. So sorry. Darling little boy. I hope you are feeling okay and OH too. I am terribly sorry I missed your posts. It's a lesson to me to keep better on track on CC. Hugs and apologies.

Don't worry Sarah, I've done the same thing myself before now. Thanks for the good wishes, and to everyone. It does help. :) xx

I know, Mark, I've felt the same about other forum regular cats that have gone, like your lovely Laz. xx

We do miss poor old Puggy - we'd not realised quite how much our days were built around him, but I'd do it all again in a heartbeat.

I know exactly what you mean Helen. My whole day worked around making sure Laz was attended to and Alice before him. I can't help noticing that Kylie is now on the sofa, where they spent their time before him. I think I am destined to spend my life going to bed after the 2am feed and back up for the 7am one! :)

At least we can honestly say that we gave them the best we could.
