Temporary foster care of our 2 cats (colchester, essex)

Post by Tine1984 »

Hi everyone

we are hoping there is somebody who can help us in an awful situation

due to circumstances we are unable to keep our boys at the moment, we had to leave our property and are staying with family who dont want our cats there for much longer. we have asked everyone we know and have phoned all the agencies and no one can help us. it seems the agencies will only help if we give our boys up permanently....which is something we absolutely do not want to do!!!

we are desperate for someone to give our precious boys a loving home just until we are back on our feet and can have them back ,, they are not just cats to us, they are family and part of us!! we hand reared them from only a few weeks old and cannot be without them and even the thought of doing this is absolutely dreadful....

we are willing to pay the expenses and will be able to bring them to you as long as there is the understanding that we can have our little boys back and that you can give them all the love and special attention that they deserve.

they are 6 year old brothers named Romeo (short haired black ) who is very nervous an timid but so lovable and got a huge personality and Prince (short haired white/black) who is our big playful ball of fluff who is loving and loves to play with toys.

we absolutley do not what to have to put our babies in a re-homing centre as we want to be able to have our family reunited.

please help.

You could try contacting rescues in your area here:

http://www.catchat.org/adoption/

Many rescues rely on foster homes for their cats and you never know they may be able to help or advise.
Best of luck!

Also ask your vets if they know of anyone. I've heard of vet staff doing fostering.
