Our local vet recently recommended a change from Frontline to Advocate for our beautiful mixed race but principally Siamese type four year old cat. This was mainly because she had a small skin infection. After the first application our cat had a bad reaction for three days but eventually got better. After the second application three weeks later she was very ill and has died this very evening.
We are confident beyond doubt that despite reassurances from our vet, her death was caused by Advocate. We have seen many bad reports of this treatment especially for cats so if your vet recommends it take a long breath before you agree.
We have lost a lovely beautiful friend who acted as a surragate mum for four kittens.
