Rehoming my cat - what papers do I need
Rehoming my cat - what papers do I need
I'm rehoming my cat. Found a great person to take care of her, already inspected their home and all. I have adoption papers ready for them to sign, but I was wondering what I should provide for the new owner. She's been spayed and is up to date on all her vaccines and just got her flea medication. Is there anything I'm forgetting? I'm so nervous about this. I hate to lose my baby but I simply can't afford to take care of her anymore.

Hi, so sorry you're having to part with your cat
The only thing I can think of is, if she's microchipped, the new owner will need to update the documents in their name - there's a small fee for this.
I hope all goes well in the new home and all the very best for the future to you both
