2 Gorgeous Cats

Post by DanniD87 »

I need to rehome two 9 year old sisters. I am devastated to do this but a couple of years ago my relationship ended and my ex agreed to look after our two female cats whilst I moved back home to my mum’s. She has a big Tom cat and I couldn’t take them with me. He’s recently had a child and our cats became very anxious around the baby. He brought them to me in my new flat and I’ve been looking after them but it’s so unfair them being here. For one thing I wasn’t expecting them to live with me so I’ve moved to a ‘no pet’ building! And secondly I live on a very busy road and I don’t feel safe letting them out. They’re cooped up all day and night. I also work nights as a nurse and it’s not fair on them. My mums tried introducing them to her cat but that didn’t go well and I’ve asked anyone and everyone. I’ve rang shelters but they’re all full. Can anyone help at all? They’re absolutely gorgeous, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated. The lot. I can’t split them up either. If I could afford to move with them I would but I just can’t at the moment.

Cat Chat’s rehoming advice page might help, which also includes advice on ways to avoid having to rehome: https://www.catchat.org/index.php/rehome-pet-cat
