home needed for 8yr old male cat

Post by Littleman_12 »

i urgently need a good home for my cat max. due to family circumstances and max not being good with children i am no longer able to keep him. he is currently being kept outside which is unfair for him but unavoidable. he needs a home without children and would be happier being the only pet. i am based in welling and would be grateful if anyone could rehome max asap. many thanks

Hello,
Sorry to hear about your situation. You are right, leaving your cat outdoors is not at all ideal. Please at least ensure he has warm, dry shelter and that he has regular food and water until he can be found a home.
Please read Cat Chat’s rehoming advice page here: https://www.catchat.org/index.php/rehome-pet-cat
You can also email Cat Chat’s Help Desk for further advice: cat.advice (at) catchat.org

I hope that helps - good luck!

You should consider adopting a cat from an animal shelter. It is more cost-effective when you get a cat from such a place. Some people have the misconception that shelter cats are problem cats. But this is not true. Most cats are in animal shelters due to lifestyle changes from their former owners.

For instance, some people give up their cats when they have a new baby, or because their spouses are allergic to cats.
