Saturn is Missing, Wolverhampton

Post by Ruth B »

I had hoped I would never have to write this, but it seems like Saturn has gone AWOL, I haven't seen him since late on Friday 1st November. He is a black and white male cat, neutered and microchipped, and was last seen at home in the Farndale Estate area of Wolverhampton. The Racecourse is close to our house and did have a major fireworks display on Saturday night so it is possible he has gone into hiding or panicked and ran. If any one lives in Wolverhampton or visited over the weekend could you please keep an eye out for him.

Just an update to say he is home although he doesn't seem like himself so he is off to the vets to be checked over this evening.

That's a relief, hope he is just feeling a bit off colour.

Glad he is home, fingers crossed the vet doesn't find anything wrong

The vet couldn't find anything obvious, his eyes are gungy, and his chronic gingivitis has really flared up, so he has had an AB injection and we have some drops for his eyes, and if he doesn't pick up by the end of the week then he is to go back for blood tests to see if they can show anything. At the moment he just seem tired and lethargic rather than hungry. Hopefully it is all just due to him either being shut in somewhere for 3 days, or having to walk back from somewhere after a car or van ride.

Sounds like the stress of being lost has reduced his immune system a bit, hopefully he just needs some rest to recover.
