Tonight's The Night....

Post by Grace56 »

.....that I am taking Dave home to Norwich. I am as nervous and apprehensive as anything. :(
I am getting a later train so it will hopefully be quieter and no commuters from London. (It's the London Liverpool Street train)
Also, I thought of sitting on the floor in the space between the coaches with Dave next to me. That may be better with his carrier covered.

Please send good vibes for us. I need them. :?

Good luck from E&G. Rescue remedy is brilliant ..... Few drops on top of Denver's head between his ears might help to keep him calm. Helen, Some drops on your tongue wouldn't hurt you either. I use Rescue Remedy most days for Georgie and for me when I'm stressed at work.
Safe journey!

Best wishes for the journey. If you have the type of carrier with door on the end, wrap a luggage strap around the carrier to hold it together and keep the door from popping open.

Good luck! :)

I remember when you could send animals by Red Star on trains. I sent a friend's cat to him in Newcastle - seems a crazy idea now :)

PS - My Granddad was steam train driver from Liverpool St to Norfolk :)

I think it was Helen :)

Much younger than I remember him as being, but recognizable by the roll-up he always had hanging out of his mouth :D http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn22 ... rain01.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Sorry for hijacking the thread - just keeping it warm until you update :)
