Help !! Kitty is confusing me

Hello again ,
I wrote yesterday morning about kitty she had been very sick but just the once and had one bout of diarrhoea . I did as vet advised and introduced a small amount of chicken every few hours during the night . One more smaller but getting firmer diarrhoea nurse at vets said that's fine and diarrhoea can take longer to go but continue to feed her if she wants it . Oh boy kitty's hungry she is doing a food bowl sit in !!
I've been good only giving her a tiny bits as I was told , at 6 am I fell asleep and kitty woke me being sick but only a really small amount no food just lots of hair in it . She has been grooming herself always does but she's short had but sheds loads .(always has my white bedding has black patches lol )
No more diarrhoea fingers crossed !
She's sitting by her food bowl as I message you all ...
That bit that confuses me is the food is staying down , she's purring ,wants feeding .,why has she been sick yet kept food down ? why has her sick always been yellow ? Yet Thomas my other cat bit more brown ??

has her vomit contained recognizable food when it was yellow? if not, it was probably just bile - bile and furballs can go together

now she's brought up the hair she may well be fine - I'd give her a small amount of her usual food now to see how she goes - if she is prone to bringing up bile, because of acid in an empty stomach, small and often may be the way forward with her all the time anyway

it may turn out though that she cannot stomach certain foods, and you will have to go down the sensitivity route - it isn't uncommon in cats, and there are plenty of specialist foods out there

Yesterday her vomit had food in but this morning it was bile and hair . She's a short haired cat so the hair doesn't come out in a ball just loose ? Where as Tom has proper sausages !!!
I have been giving her small amounts of chicken today and so far no vomit or diarrhoea .
