Webbox Cat Chews

Post by Grace56 »

Has anyone else fed these to your cats? They are long stick like things that smell dreadful. But my Dave loves 'em. I've just read on another thread that Webbox aren't very good for cats. If so, I'll stop giving them to Dave. He only gets them as a treat now and again mind. ;)

My cats have loved these in the past but our current resident is sick the minute she’s eaten one so she can’t have them. Oddly she used to be okay, so whether they’ve altered the recipe and something doesn’t agree with her I don’t know. If she could eat them I wouldn’t stop her having them as a treat a few times a week, cat treats are probably like sweets to us, ok in moderation and if they enjoy them they’re entitled to a treat as much as we are. They are brilliant for hiding tablets too! I’ve disguised many pills in a squidgy bit of Webbox (if you get a soft one, some are harder than others).

I fed Lily these for years as it was the only way to give her her numerous pills everyday. Mitz loved them too. So long as it's just an occasional treat rather than an exclusive diet, they're fine.
