Re: JOINING AGAIN.
What beautiful kitties! Unusual colouring for feral kittens - I would suspect some pedigree in there somewhere! How old were they when you found them? I have an ex-feral kitten who is a beautiful white Calico with orange and black markings. She was approximately 4 and a half months old when we took her in. Her name is Jessie.
Love to hear more about lovely Tilly and Scooby. Fusses to your furballs!

Re: JOINING AGAIN.
They were about 10 weeks old when we found them, I was surprised how quickly they adapted to living in a house. Jessie is gorgeous. I think there is some blue in them, Scooby looks like a Russian blue and Tilly is blue and white. But whatever we love them, which considering we never thought we would ever own a cat and ended up with two.Jacks wrote:What beautiful kitties! Re: JOINING AGAIN.
Yes, I would agree with you about the Russian Blue! I never thought I'd be a cat owner either, but taking in Jessie (what can you do when they'd starve without you?) after her stray mother deserted her (I never caught her) we soon added another two; one as a companion kitten and another because she was there in the same rescue cage! Now we've taken in Mr Socks, the semi-feral ex-Tom I finally caught and neutered 8 months ago. And yes, they take over your life, don't they, but in such a good way!
Love the fact that they settled in so quickly, you had a ready-made family! Jessie took a little longer to settle, being older, but after 2 months with us was crying out for a playmate so our family expanded.
Tilly and Scooby look like amazingly laid back cats - Jessie is still scared of visitors at 2 years, especially if they're loud voiced or male
Are your boys indoor or outdoor now?

Great pictures of Tilly and Scooby. Beautiful colourings.
Jackie I never knew that Jessie looks like that!! What a stunner she is!! I know I've been hearing about her for so long now (via Sophie of course) but I didn't realise what lovely markings she has. Great to put a face to a name

Re: JOINING AGAIN.
Thank you for your compliments about Jessie, Fluffy's mum! She is rather a beautiful girly, with greeny golden eyes as well. You can image how I fell in love with her when we first saw her mum bring this white ball of fluff out on to our neighbour's garage roof! We watched her day by day get bigger, and learn to climb up and down the tree into our garden, where she used to play with fallen apples and twigs. When Mum disappeared we knew our lives had changed, as we were going to be a kitty family

Re: JOINING AGAIN.
Hi Jacks, Tilly is a girl and Scooby is the boy and they both come and go as they please as we live by a farm and there are no other cats about, so they are lucky really. lol. Tilly is very nervous around strangers too, Scooby is not to bad. lolJacks wrote:Yes, I would agree with you about the Russian Blue! Jackie it is so lovely to hear about Jessie's background. She is beautiful now but as a kitten she obviously was irresistable. Fabulous photo.
Kittiesmom, yes Tilly has got very unusual markings hasn't she. What a stunning girl she is.

The picture of Tilly on the shed roof reminded me of a pic I have of Tommy doing his impression of the Cheshire Cat.

Crikey I thought our late lamented Rosie was big! We all miss Rose, she was a very protective big sister. I could not have raised Willow without Rosie's help.

Re: JOINING AGAIN.
All lovely pics, but that pic of Zack and Scooby really made me laugh!

Re: JOINING AGAIN.
I've just had such a laugh at Scooby and Zack too. Is Zack a newfie?
Love the pic of Rosie. What a gorgeous girl she was.
Just thought I would join in the theme with a pic of my old boy Fraser (no longer with us) and little Fluffy. She knew she had to make friends with him so that she could move herself in with us. Very brave of her but he was so gentle.

What a lovely picture. I think it's great when our pets get on so well with each other. They have a lot to teach us.

"And the lion shall lie down with the lamb"
Wonderful pic, Zack's obviously a big, cuddly, gentle giant.
I remember the lovely pic of HRH Fluffy and Fraser. Her lovely cross-puss face still manages to look slightly disgruntled, bless her!

Re: JOINING AGAIN.
Helen I think the age of the photo and the poor quality helps tone down her disgruntled expression
She used to watch Fraser very carefully and I think in this photo she was deliberately getting in on the action. The funny thing is that he was so focussed on me that he didn't even notice she'd crept up next to him. Until he rolled over in excitement and the lovely moment was over
