Cat prefers cuddle to food
Saw an article the other day about cats preferring human contact to food. Well. when I went in to feed them this morning, Toto preferred being cuddled to having his breakfast!

Most, of mine definitely enjoy both, but if I tried to cuddle any of them while my OH put the food bowls down i would end up in A&E, if it was something like a meal of roast chicken doubly so.
There is a time and place for everything and cuddles at feeding time is not the right time.

That's why I was so surprised! Even though I had put his food down, he still wanted to be cuddled rather than go and eat it.There is a time and place for everything and cuddles at feeding time is not the right time.

Bless him, his owners are away aren't they, so I expect he was missing his cuddles. But what a compliment

Yes, I also read somewhere something like that and that was written for feline cats. Totally agrees with that.
