twenty for 2020 campaign

Working with hundreds of rescues across the UK and Ireland, throughout 2020 we will be identifying those cats who have been in rescue care for the longest time. By highlighting these deserving cats through nationwide publicity and social sharing we aim to reach their perfect person. Your Share, Tweet or Post could do it.

Penny (Egremont)

Penny has been in the care of Animal Concern Cumbria, Egremont for over four years.

Now here's a pretty Penny and we're banking on finding her a top-dollar home and garden. Her past is a bit of a mystery as this copper coloured kitty came into the shelter as a young stray. Based on her size and weight, she had clearly struggled to survive. But with a little TLC, she's now in mint condition.

After so much time spent in rescue care, being deposited into a new home may upset her balance so she'll need some understanding. She'll be happy around kind children who know not to Penny pinch! We know money talks - and this Penny purrs. She likes to take an interest in most things and to coin a phrase, hers could be the real rags to riches story.

Could she be your Penny from Heaven?

As part of Cat Chat's twentieth anniversary celebrations, Penny will be homed with a parcel of goodies including HiLife Cat Food, a personalised cat collar from Kitty Collars and Feliway to help her adjust to her new life. All cats featured in the campaign are vet checked, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped before adoption.

And there are too many cats looking for love, and a secure home.

Let's try and put the two together.”
