Rescue cat Barney from Yorkshire Animal Shelter, Leeds, North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, needs a homeHello, my name is Barney and I would like to tell you a little of my story. I am around 5 years old and came to the shelter as an un-neutered tom, living rough in Leeds after someone spotted that I had a head tilt. My tilt was caused by a polyp in my ear and I needed specialist surgery to remove the polyp and clean the infection from my ear. I am recovered now but I do need help keeping my ears clean twice a week. I am still tilted but it doesn't stop me doing anything, my balance is fine and I am happy to jump and climb. While I was getting ready for my surgery the vet did an overall check and found that I have an enlarged heart; it doesn't need anything other than monitoring at the moment. I am a big softy and am loving the 'home' comforts here. I have decided it is time for me to settle down, so I am looking for a loving home, I would like a home away from busy roads so that I can have a little wander outside. I am neutered now and am ready to go; all I need in a loving human with a big heart.
