HARRY HALF-TAIL
Hi ya, my name is Harry Half-Tail and I am a handsome 3 year old tabby boy. As my name suggests I do indeed have only half a tail, it makes me extra cute! I arrived here at the end of June as I had been a stray around a nice lady’s house for a while, she had been looking out for me but then she was moving house and she couldn’t take me with her, so she brought me here. I was very nervous when I first arrived and I hissed and spit at the staff and generally just tried to be a tough boy! Over time though, my defence has been broken down and I realised the staff were actually nice and it was ok to be friendly. I started to really enjoy the strokes I got then and would head bump staff for them. It also really helped that they brought me food, as that is what wins me round the most! I can still be wary of new people and will still hiss and act defensive, but if you just sit and talk to me and you are patient, I will let you stroke me then. I can’t wait to find a forever home, where I can finally feel loved by an owner and am allowed the time to settle in in my own time.
