Hello, my name is Alexia and I am a gorgeous 13 year old white and torti girl and I came into The Centre as my owner was having to move home and they couldn’t take me with them as they had a dog living there and I was very anxious around the dog! I am a sweet girl but I can be a little shy to start with and might be hiding away, if you sit with me though, I will come out and see you and then I like to get fusses and once I know and trust you, I become really confident. But I do get spooked easily and I may give you a little hiss when that happens, I don’t mean anything by it though it’s just my wary nature. I am now looking for a quiet home with no other pets so I can feel happy again and less anxious and my true friendly, loving self can blossom again. My previous owners said I was very much a lap cat before I became so anxious, so it would be nice to feel happy and safe to get back to that. I will be rehomed on part foster for my ears as the vet here feels that at some point I may have to have them removed or at least the tips of them, the staff here can explain that more to you though if you are interested in me. I hope I find my forever home very soon.
