Hi :) 

My name is Maeve and I am a beautiful petite calico girl who was born in October 2014.

I was rescued from living on the street and came to Boote Home many years ago with my Mother when I was pregnant with kittens myself! My mum and my kittens found new homes for themselves and I went to a lovely foster home to build my confidence with people.

I am a friendly girl but I can be nervous about meeting new people and I will need a quiet home without children and with someone who is patient and kind who will give me time to settle in and gain my confidence.

I might potentially be ok in a home with other cats but I have been intimidated by other cats in my foster home in the past so may be happier being the only cat in the household.

I like to be stroked and can be picked up briefly, but will wriggle to get down after a short while.

I am playful and I love chasing red laser dots!

I've had all of my teeth out so I don't bite! (my teeth were not strong and decayed easily) this doesn't stop me from eating though! I love dried food but this has to be rationed or I quickly put on weight. I like Whiskas chicken, Sheba, Gourmet and any other "better quality" brands (like Harringtons). 

I am neutered, microchipped, inoculated and up-to-date with flea and worm treatment.
