I’m Blackie.
 

I’m a 1 year old black girl and I came into rescue as unneutered trapping from a colony situation. I absolutely love other cats and am very "in your face" affectionate to them. When I was first in the house on my own I hated it and was very scared and withdrawn, then my Fosterer’s got Socks to help with this and i came out of my shell immediately and I follow him around - if he thinks it's OK then so do I! I need a similar situation where there is a nice confident resident cat/cats (preferably one around the same age as me as I love to play) who will accept me being very much in their space and will give me confidence.

Im very loving and purry and will sit next to you on the couch and have a fuss but it has taken some time and i don’t  like being handled at all so I will take some time to settle. Im quite skittish so would be OK with an indoor home (I would almost say preferred or at least indoor for a very long time until I’m settled!). Despite being very nervous Ive never scratched or bitten despite being very scared so I’m a very nice cat. I have learned to play recently and that has helped as I see humans are now a source of fun but I might have some way to go on the affection stakes.
