Hello, I'm called Bud, but my real name is Rosebud, and I'm rather beautiful don't you think? I'm looking for a quiet adult home where I can be your only furry friend. I'm a bit of an independent lady, and I enjoy spending time outside. I need a patient owner who will give me time to settle into my new home, and let me have the space I sometimes need to 'do my own thing'. When I'm ready for cuddles I'll come and find you. I'm a good girl at heart, and I would so love someone to care for me. I need a home with an experienced cat owner who can accept me for the independent girl I am. Could you offer me the special home I'm looking for?
 
Bud - or Rosebud - like so many cats has had a 'colourful' life. She's pretty much been pushed from pillar to post, from one home to another, until she arrived with us. In her last home she apparently wouldn't come home, but then it was a fairly chaotic household that probably didn't suit her. She's an independent cat that likes to be outside perhaps out of necessity, but she's not feral or suited to being a yard cat. 
 
Since Bud has been with us she has been in an outdoor pen, and that really doesn't suit her at all, but we don't have an indoor fosterer able to take her. She has attacked the fosterer's feet several times, biting through the leather when she has entered the pen. Whenever the fosterer enters Bud hisses and growls. We feel she needs an understanding experienced cat owner who is happy to let her 'do her own thing' and for her to come indoors when she feels comfortable.
