Milky
Meet handsome Milky, a Birman type male just under 4 years old. Milky came into our care as his owners were returning to Romina and couldn’t take him with them.
Milky has a long soft coat that will need regular brushing, but he enjoys this being done and will come to you when he sees the brush.
He might have a short game with a stick toy, but much prefers having a fuss made of him and will give you plenty of purrs and head bumps but at the moment he prefers not to sit on your lap for this. Occasionally he will nip your fingers when you don't stroke him where he wants you to, or he has had enough.
Milky has been prone to some urinary issues, usually when stressed, so the vets have advised that he be on urinary dry food, he currently has Purina Urinary. Although he can eat normal wet food as well. Milky would be suitable for a home with children 12 years + but with no other cats and no dogs. They are looking for homes away from busy roads and railways.
He is neutered, microchipped and is fully vaccinated.
Milky will need to have a safe, secure, quiet room to start off in. A room where he can have a separate area for food and water. For a litter tray placed as far away as possible from his food and water. For somewhere to hide, access to a high spot where he can view his surroundings, a suitable place to sleep or, ideally, a choice of them, a scratching post and a few cat toys and space for him to play. He will also need a Feliway diffuser in his room, as he will likely hide away for a few days when he goes to his new home.
